What is credit restoration and how does it work?
Credit restoration is a process where we dispute any misleading, inaccurate, incomplete, and unverifiable information being reported in your credit report. We request the credit bureaus and credit reporting agencies (CRAs) verify any information we requested.
Is credit restoration legal?
With identity theft at its highest, it is becoming very difficult for consumers to maintain great credit. That is why consumers are protected by certain laws that allow them to dispute certain items that can be inaccurate and it is in your complete right by law to do so.
Can you really remove items from my credit report?
We successfully challenge any inaccurate items on your credit report with the credit bureaus and (CA's) with expertise tactics. The (FCRA) law gives the credit bureaus a period of no longer than 30 days to verify if the information is accurate. If the credit bureaus don't provide the results of their investigation within the 30 days allowed then the information must be deleted!
How long will it take to see results?
It generally takes 30 to 45 days to see results but remember, no two credit reports are alike and results will vary from client to client depending on the nature of their case.
How and where can I receive a free copy of my credit report each year?
Recent changes to the Fair Credit Reporting Act allow consumers to get one free copy of their credit report annually. You can visit any of these two sites to obtain your copy: www.annualcreditreport.com or www.myfico.com (a division of the reputable Fair Isaac Company)
How do I protect myself from identity theft?
Consumers can put a "fraud alert" on all three of their credit files by simply requesting one from the credit bureaus for a period of no less than 90 days. Consumers can extend this fraud alert for up to 7 years and it may be removed at any time.
