A derogatory mark is a serious negative item on your report, like a late payment, charge-off, or collection.
Derogatory marks lower your score and can stay for up to seven years (longer for some items). If a derogatory item is inaccurate or unverifiable, it can be disputed and removed.
Not sure how this affects your score? We'll walk through your report with you.
