    This page explains your right to cancel your credit repair services agreement with Mesa Group Consulting under federal and California law, and provides the standalone Notice of Cancellation form you may use to exercise that right.

    YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

    If you have signed a credit repair services agreement with Mesa Group Consulting, you have the legal right to cancel your contract, without penalty or obligation, under both federal and California law.

    This right exists regardless of:

    • Whether services have begun
    • Whether you have paid any fees
    • Whether you have signed any other documents related to your enrollment
    • Any statement to the contrary by a Mesa Group representative

    You may not be charged any fee, penalty, or other cost for exercising your right to cancel.

    FEDERAL RIGHT TO CANCEL (CROA)

    Under the federal Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) (15 U.S.C. § 1679 et seq.), you have the right to cancel any credit repair services contract:

    • Within three (3) business days from the date you signed the contract
    • For any reason — no explanation required
    • Without penalty or obligation — no fees may be charged for cancellation

    This three-day right to cancel is a federal protection that cannot be waived.

    Calculating the Three (3) Business Days

    • •Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays
    • •The day you signed the contract is not counted as Day 1
    • •The first business day after signing is Day 1
    • •The third business day after signing is the deadline

    Example: If you signed your contract on a Monday, you have until end of day Thursday to cancel.

    CALIFORNIA RIGHT TO CANCEL

    In addition to the federal three-day right to cancel under CROA, California residents have additional cancellation protections under California law.

    3.1 California Three-Day Right to Cancel

    California Civil Code Section 1789.16 provides California residents with a three-day right to cancel a credit services agreement, mirroring the federal CROA right.

    3.2 California Right to Cancel at Any Time

    California residents may cancel a credit services agreement at any time, for any reason, even after the initial three-day period. Upon cancellation:

    • Mesa Group Consulting will cease all work on your behalf
    • You will not be charged for services not yet performed
    • Fees for services already performed in compliance with CROA may not be refundable, except as provided under the 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee (see your Terms & Conditions)

    3.3 California 180-Day Maximum Contract Term

    Pursuant to California law, credit repair service contracts in California may not exceed one hundred eighty (180) days. The Mesa360 Credit Repair Program, when entered into by California residents, automatically terminates at the end of 180 days unless you and Mesa Group Consulting enter into a new written service agreement.

    HOW TO SUBMIT A CANCELLATION

    To cancel your credit repair services agreement, you must provide written notice to Mesa Group Consulting through any of the following methods:

    4.1 Email (Preferred Method)

    • •Include: Your full name, contact information, and a clear statement that you are canceling your credit repair services agreement

    4.2 Mail

    Send a signed Notice of Cancellation form (or written statement of cancellation) to:

    For mailed cancellations, the date of mailing (postmark date) is the date of cancellation.

    4.3 In Person

    You may deliver a signed Notice of Cancellation in person to:

    4.4 Through Your Client Portal

    Active clients may submit a cancellation request through the client portal at portal.mesagroupconsulting.com by using the "Contact Compliance" or messaging feature.

    NOTICE OF CANCELLATION FORM

    You may use the form below to cancel your credit repair services agreement. You may also write your own letter — no specific form is required, as long as the cancellation is in writing and includes your name, contact information, and a clear statement of cancellation.

    Instructions

    1. Print this form or use the printable version provided to you at enrollment
    2. Complete all client fields
    3. Sign and date the form
    4. Send via email, mail, or deliver in person using the methods in Section 4
    5. Keep a copy for your records

    You will receive written confirmation of your cancellation within three (3) business days of receipt.

    WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU CANCEL

    6.1 Confirmation of Cancellation

    Within three (3) business days of receiving your cancellation, the Compliance Department will send written confirmation to the email address or mailing address on file. This confirmation will include:

    • The date your cancellation was received
    • The effective date of cancellation
    • Information about any applicable refunds
    • A summary of what happens next

    6.2 Cessation of Services

    Upon cancellation, Mesa Group Consulting will:

    • Stop all credit repair work on your behalf, including dispute submissions and creditor correspondence
    • Cancel any pending or scheduled actions related to your account
    • Disable your client portal access (active clients) within 30 days

    Note: Mesa Group Consulting will not undo or reverse actions already taken before your cancellation (e.g., dispute letters already sent, creditor communications already submitted). Credit bureaus and creditors will continue to process previously submitted disputes according to their own procedures.

    6.3 Credit Monitoring (SmartCredit)

    If you are enrolled in SmartCredit credit monitoring through Mesa Group Consulting, your SmartCredit subscription is a separate third-party service and will continue unless you cancel it directly with SmartCredit. Cancellation of your Mesa Group Consulting credit repair services does not automatically cancel your SmartCredit subscription.

    REFUNDS FOLLOWING CANCELLATION

    7.1 Cancellation Within the Three-Day Period

    If you cancel within the federal or California three-day right to cancel period, you are entitled to a full refund of any fees paid under CROA. Refunds will be issued within ten (10) business days of receipt of your cancellation notice.

    7.2 Cancellation After the Three-Day Period

    If you cancel after the three-day right to cancel period:

    • •The one-time Consulting Fee / Credit Audit & Action Plan is non-refundable, as it covers professional work completed at enrollment
    • •Monthly service fees for billing periods in which services have already been performed are non-refundable, in accordance with CROA's no-advance-fee rule (you only paid for services after they were performed)
    • •You will not be charged for any future billing periods after cancellation

    7.3 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee

    If you are within the first 90 days of service and meet the eligibility requirements, you may be entitled to a refund of monthly service fees under our 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee. See Section 5 of our Terms & Conditions for full details and eligibility requirements.

    7.4 SmartCredit Monitoring Fees

    SmartCredit subscription fees are billed by SmartCredit (a third-party service) and are not refundable through Mesa Group Consulting. To cancel SmartCredit and request any refunds, contact SmartCredit directly.

    CANCELLATION OF OTHER SERVICES

    This Right to Cancel page applies specifically to credit repair services agreements, which are governed by CROA and California law.

    For cancellation of other Mesa Group Consulting services, please refer to:

    • Business Funding Services: Refer to the specific terms of your business funding consultation agreement
    • DIY Credit Repair Training: Refer to the terms of your training program enrollment
    • Financial Consulting Services: Refer to your specific consulting agreement
    • Life Insurance / Estate Planning Referrals: These services are provided by third-party partners; cancellation must be requested directly with the partner

    Cancellation notices received outside business hours are deemed received on the next business day. For purposes of the three-day right to cancel, we apply the date of mailing (for mail) or date of email transmission (for email), not the date we processed it, to determine whether your cancellation was timely.

    The right to cancel itself is a federal and state legal protection and cannot be diminished by any update to this page or by any contract term.
